Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Samiti in Uttar Pradesh is looking for 02 experienced, retired Principals to lead its residential schools for the academic session 2026-27. If you have served as a Principal at a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya or Sainik School and are now retired, this is a rewarding opportunity to continue shaping young minds while earning a handsome Rs. 1,20,000 per month.

Selection Process

This recruitment is entirely merit-based -- there is no written examination or skill test involved. The Samiti will evaluate your application, retirement credentials, service record, and any awards or achievements from your career. Since the pool of eligible candidates is limited to retired JNV and Sainik School Principals, the selection relies heavily on your professional track record and age preference (younger retirees are favoured).

• Educational certificates -- self-attested photocopies of all qualifications from school level to the highest degree
• Service-related certificates -- self-attested copies of your appointment letters, promotion orders, and service record
• Retirement letter -- attach the original or self-attested copy confirming your retirement from JNV or Sainik School
• Achievement/award certificates -- if you have received any awards during your career, include these to strengthen your application
• Passport-size photograph -- paste a recent photograph on the application form
• Health declaration -- the form includes a section on health and legal information that must be completed honestly

• Lead and manage the overall administration of the allotted Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya residential school
• Oversee academic planning, curriculum delivery, and student performance for the 2026-27 session
• Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff to maintain high educational standards
• Ensure the welfare, safety, and holistic development of residential students
• Coordinate with the Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Samiti and UPBOCW for administrative and operational matters
• Maintain discipline, school infrastructure, and a conducive learning environment
