APSSB MTS Recruitment 2026: Overview

Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) is recruiting regular Group C Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) through the Combined Secondary Level Examination. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Post preferences: your chosen order of posts and departments is final once submitted. The Board uses that order when preparing the merit list, so consider the available departments carefully.
• Uniform eligibility: the state residence, indigenous-status and tribal-language conditions apply across the notified categories. An unreserved label does not remove the notice-specific conditions.
• Reservation: APST applicants selected on merit without relaxed standards may compete against unreserved as well as APST openings. Ex-servicemen reservation applies to indigenous Arunachal Pradesh tribal applicants.
• Provisional appointment: a Board recommendation does not itself guarantee appointment. The receiving department must be satisfied about your suitability and the authenticity of your records.
• Exam centres: you give centre preferences, but APSSB can redirect you to another centre. Requests to change the allotted centre are not accepted.
• Accessibility: request the scribe option in your online form if you need it. You may choose your own scribe or the Board facility, subject to the stated conditions.
• Application changes: editing ends when the application window closes. If you send multiple forms for the same post, APSSB considers only the latest one.
• Answer sheets: the Board does not offer re-evaluation or re-checking. The notified openings remain provisional and may be changed or withdrawn.
