ANGRAU Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is arranging a walk-in recruitment for a Teaching Associate in Agricultural Economics at Agricultural College, Mahanandi. The engagement is temporary and contractual, linked to the college department. Filling the regular post can bring the contract to an end, even before its maximum tenure is complete.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract length: You can serve for up to 11 months from joining, or until the regular post is filled, whichever happens first. The engagement ends automatically when either condition is reached.
• No regular appointment claim: This contract does not give you a right to a regular university appointment or a post in another government organisation.
• No continuation claim: You cannot claim an extension of the contractual engagement. The notice expressly separates this appointment from any promise of further service.
• University termination: The university may end the engagement at any time without advance notice or a stated reason.
• Leaving the role: If you decide to leave, give one month of notice. Otherwise, the terms call for payment of one month of salary before departure.
• Accuracy and conduct: Concealing facts or canvassing can lead to rejection during recruitment or termination after you have joined.
• Travel: You must cover your own travel and daily expenses for attending the interview.
• Recruitment changes: The Associate Dean may cancel or postpone the interview because of unavoidable circumstances. The selection committee has the final say on the appointment.

Application Submission Notes

Report to the Office of the Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Mahanandi for registration before 11:00 AM. The interview starts at that time and continues afterwards; the notice asks you to register before the start.
