Big post counts include 155 Constable (Executive), 77 Firemen, 71 Radio Operator (ASI), 28 Sub-Inspector (Executive), and 29 Constable (GD). Vacancies are tentative and may change.

Who Can Apply?

• Education: Post-wise eligibility includes 10th pass, 12th pass, graduation, engineering/diploma, radio/electrical/automobile qualifications, NTC/NAC trade certificate, and relevant experience.
• Driving licence: Required for several SI, constable, driver, mechanic and follower posts.
• Age: Some SI/ASI posts are up to 30 years; several Constable/HC/Follower posts are 18-33 years for male and 18-38 years for female; driver/fire/PMF/IRBn technical posts are often 18-25 years.
• Age date: 17 May 2026.
• Relaxation: ST - 5 years, OBC - 3 years, plus government servant, A&N contractual staff, departmental and ex-servicemen relaxation as per rules.

Salary

• Level 6: Rs. 35,400-1,12,400 for SI/ASI level posts.
• Level 4: Rs. 25,500-81,100 for HC/Store Keeper/Dealing Assistant level posts.
• Level 3: Rs. 21,700-69,100 for constable and similar posts.
• Level 2: Rs. 19,900-63,200 for Nursing Assistant.
• Level 1: Rs. 18,000-56,900 for follower and safai posts.

Physical Standards and Tests

The recruitment includes Physical Measurement and Endurance Test (PM&ET) for most posts. It is qualifying/elimination in nature and carries no marks. Nursing Assistant is exempted from PM&ET.

• Post-wise height and chest standards apply; for many male posts height starts at 168 cm for UR/OBC/EWS and 160 cm for ST.
• Endurance tests include race, long jump, swimming, and post-specific activities depending on the post.
• Trade tests are held for driver, mechanic, bandsmen, electrician, cook, barber, safai, carpenter, tailor, washerman and similar posts.
• Typing test, where applicable, requires 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.

Selection Process

1. Online application at the official portal.
2. PM&ET - qualifying physical measurement and endurance test.
3. Written examination - graduate, higher secondary, or matric-level depending on post.

5. Document verification of original certificates.
6. Medical examination and final merit.

The written exam has 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. Final merit is based on written exam and trade/typing marks wherever applicable.
