AIIMS Rishikesh is looking for 3 Yoga Therapists on a contractual basis for a CCRYN-funded research project on Mind Body Interventions Through Yoga. Salary ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month depending on the post.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh has announced a walk-in interview for contractual posts under the Extramural Research Project — CCRYN Collaborative Centre for Mind Body Interventions Through Yoga (CCMBIY), funded by the Central Council of Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN). Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (same for both posts)

• MA (Yoga) or MSc Yoga or Diploma in Yoga
• BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences)
• PhD in Yoga

Desirable Qualification (same for both posts)

• Any research experience in the field of Yoga
• Proficiency in computer applications — MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Note: Persons already in regular time-scale service under any Government Department or Organisation are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Yoga Therapist (full-time): Maximum 40 years
• Yoga Therapist at spokes (part-time): Maximum 30 years
• Age is calculated as on the date of walk-in interview (1st May 2026)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get relaxation as per government rules

Salary

• Yoga Therapist (full-time): Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated fixed amount)
• Yoga Therapist at spokes (part-time): Rs. 10,000 per month (consolidated fixed amount)
• Note: Benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, LTC, and Medical claims are not admissible for contractual posts.

Selection Process

Selection is through a direct walk-in interview — no written exam.

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend in person at the venue on 1st May 2026. Bring all original documents and a filled application form.
2. Yoga Demonstration: You may be asked to demonstrate Yoga postures during the interview. Wear appropriate clothes.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates of age, qualification, experience, and identity proof must be produced at the time of joining.

• Conduct yoga therapy sessions for patients enrolled in the CCRYN-funded research project
• Assist the Principal Investigator in carrying out mind-body intervention research activities
• Maintain detailed records of participant progress, sessions, and observations
• Demonstrate yoga postures and guide participants through prescribed yoga protocols
• Prepare session reports, data entry sheets, and progress summaries as required
• Coordinate with the research team and follow standard operating procedures for data collection
• Ensure participant safety and wellbeing during all yoga intervention sessions
