AIIMS Rishikesh Research Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh has released a notification dated 06 May 2026 for 1 Research Assistant post under an extramural research project titled "Effect of Work Place Holistic Health & Wellness Program on holistic wellness & work performance of employees of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Rishikesh". The post is purely contractual, initially for 4 months and extendable up to 6 months or till the project duration ends. Freshers with science background and nursing qualification or PG in life sciences can apply through email.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (any one of the following):

• Graduate in Science with one year experience in a health-related research project AND B.Sc Nursing, OR
• Postgraduate degree in Life Science / Biological Science (M.Sc, MPH, M.Sc Nursing, etc.)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in data collection and compilation
• Writing skills (manuscript or scientific write-up)

Note: Experience must be gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years as on the closing date of the advertisement (11 May 2026)
• No specific age relaxation mentioned in the notification

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 20,000 per month
• No other allowances or facilities will be given apart from the consolidated salary
• Initial appointment is for 4 months, extendable up to 6 months based on performance and project duration

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following way:

1. Walk-in Interview / Written Exam: The method of recruitment may be Written Exam, Interview, or both, as decided by the Recruitment Committee
2. Document Verification: You must bring the completely filled application form along with all original documents at the time of interview

The decision of the Recruitment Committee will be final.
