AIIMS Bathinda is hiring 1 Project Technical Support III post in the Department of Microbiology for an ICMR-funded project. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda (AIIMS Bathinda) has released a notice for 1 contractual Project Technical Support III post under the ICMR project GAP0066. Project Tenure and Work Conditions

Responsibilities
- Carry out phenotypic and molecular microbiology work for the ICMR project
- Handle nucleic acid extraction, PCR-based testing and related laboratory procedures
- Prepare media, antibiotics, reagents and basic laboratory records
- Support antimicrobial resistance studies and bacterial resistance profiling
- Maintain glycerol stocks, reagent logs, lab notebooks and project documents
- Assist the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator in research work
- Prepare data inputs and help with research articles and new project proposals
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Graduate degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, B.Sc/B.Tech in these disciplines or B.Sc MLT with 3 years post-qualification experience; or postgraduate degree such as M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Sc MLT in relevant disciplines.
Preferred Qualification
Experience in ICMR, DHR, CSIR, DBT or government-funded projects; diagnostic research, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, molecular biology and bioinformatics exposure preferred.
