All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda (AIIMS Bathinda) has released a notice for 1 contractual Project Technical Support III post under the ICMR project GAP0066. The project is titled Decoding Carbapenem Resistant Hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae and is linked to clinical and laboratory research for an AI-based decision support system. Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Graduate route: You need a graduate degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, B.Sc, B.Tech in these areas, or B.Sc MLT with 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Postgraduate route: You can also apply with a postgraduate degree such as M.Sc, M.Tech, M.Sc MLT, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or Life Sciences.

Salary

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The notice says salary may be delayed or stopped if the project is stalled or postponed due to unforeseen reasons.

Project Tenure and Work Conditions

The appointment is for an initial period of 1 year. It may be extended until the project is completed if the performance is satisfactory and the Principal Investigator recommends continuation.

• Nature of post: This is a purely contractual and temporary project position, not a permanent AIIMS Bathinda appointment.
• Project end: The post will automatically end when the sanctioned project or tenure ends.
• Notice period: The appointee can leave by giving 30 days notice or salary in lieu of the shortfall.
• Permanent claim: The notice clearly says the selected person cannot claim permanent employment in AIIMS Bathinda or ICMR based on this project post.

Selection Process
