AIIMS New Delhi Project Nurse-II Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi has released a vacancy notice dated 19 May 2026 for Project Nurse-II posts in an ICMR-funded research project at JPNATC. The project is TRACE-TBI, focused on transcriptomic and genomic analysis of acute cerebral edema following severe traumatic brain injury. This is a purely temporary project role and the appointment will end with the project.

The work is suitable for nurses who want exposure to trauma care, ICU work, clinical research, patient screening, consent, follow-up, monitoring, and clinical data collection. AIIMS has stated that only shortlisted applicants will be called for interview, and there is no promise of regular appointment after selection.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Qualification: You must have completed a three-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course.
• Post: The vacancy is for Project Nurse-II.
• Place of work: The work is at JPNATC, AIIMS New Delhi.

Desirable Project Skills

• ICU exposure: Experience in ICU, Neuro-ICU, or emergency care is preferred.
• Clinical research: Experience in patient screening, consent, and follow-up will help.
• Critical care work: Familiarity with critical care monitoring and clinical data collection is preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 30 years.
• Age relaxation: Relaxation will be given as per ICMR/AIIMS rules.

Salary

• Selected nurses will get Rs. 20,000 per month.
• HRA: HRA will be paid as admissible under rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on interview performance. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for the interview.

1. Shortlisting: AIIMS will shortlist applicants based on the application details and project requirements.
2. Interview: Shortlisted applicants will attend the interview. The notice allows interview mode to be personal or online.
3. Final Selection: Final selection will depend on interview performance.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview. AIIMS has also stated that no correspondence will be entertained about visiting the department before the interview.
