AIIMS Kalyani TERIIP Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Kalyani is building a project team for a study funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The Department of Community Medicine and Family Medicine is running the Kalyani work under Dr. Farhad Ahamed. This is part of TERIIP Phase II, a multicentre observational study to establish reference intervals for India’s child and adolescent population.

The recruitment brings together medical oversight and technical sample support within the same research project. You would join on a project contract, with the work tied to the study and its funding rather than a regular institute appointment.

Posts and Disciplines

• Project Research Scientist-I (Medical): The medical role connects overall project implementation with participant screening, supervision and communication with the funding agency.
• Project Technical Support-III: This role supports the study’s sample work, with added responsibility for inventory and quality control.
• Project Technical Support-II: This role also supports sample work, with a separate focus on remaining samples and data entry.

Post-wise Duties

Project Research Scientist-I Medical

You will oversee project implementation and screen study participants. You will also supervise blood collection and data entry, coordinate with the funding agency and prepare progress reports.

Project Technical Support-III

You will collect, transport and test study samples. Your work also includes keeping track of inventory and checking quality in the project’s sample workflow.

Project Technical Support-II

You will collect, transport and test study samples, alongside handling samples left after testing. You will also enter project data as part of the study team’s records.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract length: The initial appointment is for 12 months. It may extend up to a total of 36 months or until the project finishes, whichever happens earlier.
• Funding dependence: The contract can end earlier if the funding agency withdraws support. The appointment gives you no right to permanent absorption or continued contractual employment at AIIMS Kalyani or ICMR.
• Ending the contract: Either side may end the appointment with 30 days’ notice or salary in place of that notice.
• Leave and conduct: Leave follows ICMR policies as revised from time to time. You must follow the institute’s conduct and discipline rules.
• Accommodation: The institute will not provide hostel accommodation or other housing. No additional facilities beyond those stated in the notice are promised.
• Travel expenses: You must meet your own travel and daily expenses for attending the offline assessment.
• Recruitment updates: Check the institute website for the shortlist and assessment arrangements. AIIMS Kalyani will not send individual shortlist messages; the selected applicant will receive the result by email.
• Application accuracy: Incomplete applications can be rejected without a request for corrections. False information or hidden material facts can lead to disqualification or removal from service, and canvassing also leads to disqualification.
