Child Psychologist

• Qualification: You need M.A. or M.Sc. in Psychology with M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology.

Clinical Psychologist

Medical Officer (AYUSH)

• Qualification: You need a degree in the relevant AYUSH stream from a recognised university, statutory board, state board, council, faculty of Indian Medicine, or equivalent body.
• Registration: You must be enrolled on the Central Register or the relevant State Register of Indian Medicine.
• Experience: You need 3 years of clinical and/or teaching experience in a recognised hospital or teaching institution.
• Desirable: Postgraduate degree in the relevant AYUSH stream.

Common Eligibility Conditions

• Nationality: The notification is open to Indian nationals.
• Cut-off Date: Age, qualification, and experience must be valid on or before 12 July 2026.
• Government Employees: Applicants working in Central, State, UT, PSU, or autonomous organisations must produce NOC at document verification or when AIIMS asks for it.
• Equivalent Qualification: If you claim an equivalent qualification, you must produce the relevant equivalence certificate during document verification.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 35 years old.
• The cut-off date for age, qualification, and experience is the last date of application, 12 July 2026.
• OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation, only for posts reserved for OBC-NCL.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation, only for posts reserved for SC/ST.
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation for eligible PwBD applicants, provided the age does not exceed 56 years.
• Government Employees: Central/State Government or autonomous institution employees may get 5 years relaxation after completing 3 years of regular service.
• Ex-servicemen: Relaxation is length of military service plus 3 years, as per rules.

Salary

• All three posts are in Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.
• The monthly pay range is Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500.
• Selected candidates will also get usual allowances and service benefits such as DA, HRA or accommodation, TA, Leave, LTC, NPS, and Employee Health Scheme as admissible at AIIMS Gorakhpur.

Selection Process

The selection will mainly be based on interview performance.

1. Application and Document Check: AIIMS Gorakhpur will check whether the applicant meets the age, qualification, experience, fee, and document requirements.
2. Screening Process if Required: If many applications are received, the institute may hold a screening test or another shortlisting process to decide who will be called for interview. Screening marks will not count in the final interview score.
3. Interview: Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
4. Document Verification and Medical Fitness: Appointment will be subject to document verification and being declared medically fit by the competent Medical Board.
