All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal (AIIMS Bhopal) is hiring for the Project Technical Support-III role in its Department of Community & Family Medicine. The contractual post supports an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project led by Dr. Anindo Majumdar.

The ICMR-MINDS project studies how screening and care for mental health and substance-use disorders can be integrated with services for other non-communicable diseases. You would join a field-based health research project whose work extends beyond the institute to community settings.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: The appointment lasts for 10 months or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Continued work depends on ICMR funding and your performance.
• Project appointment: This post belongs to the project's approved staffing. It gives you no right to a regular position or permanent absorption at AIIMS Bhopal or ICMR, and no assurance of a further contract.
• Renewal and termination: Your contract ends automatically when its agreed period finishes unless both sides agree to renew it. Either side may end the appointment with 30 days' notice or salary instead of notice.
• Field posting: You may work at locations needed by the project, including rural field sites. The notice specifically mentions Vidisha district when explaining accommodation arrangements.
• Accommodation: The institute and principal investigator will not provide housing. If you are posted at the field site, you must arrange accommodation there or nearby at your own cost. Project funds will not cover it.
• Leave and conduct: Leave follows the ICMR policy for short-term and extramural research projects. Institute conduct and discipline rules apply, and private practice is prohibited.
• Travel costs: You will not receive travel or daily allowances for attending the recruitment assessment. The notice also excludes allowances for joining the post.
