The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Health Department, U.T. Chandigarh is building out its local project team and has opened eight different contractual posts under Advertisement No. ABDM-UT/01/2026-27/160. ABDM is the national scheme that links hospitals, clinics and patients through digital health IDs and records, and the Chandigarh unit needs hands-on staff to run it locally — from project coordination and MIS/data analysis to public outreach, capacity-building consultancy and document verification. Every post here is purely contractual, engaged for an initial one-year term tied to the project's progress, which makes this a good entry point for candidates from technical, management, public health, finance or social-science backgrounds who want project experience in the government health sector.

Posts and Disciplines

• Project Coordinator: coordinates day-to-day project activities and needs a technical or management background with health-project experience.
• Project Coordinator (Admin & Support): handles administrative and support functions for the mission, drawing on public health programme experience.
• MIS Data Analyst: manages the mission's data systems and reporting, suited to candidates with a technical or management degree.
• MIS/Data Analyst (Account): focuses on accounting, budgeting and audit work within the mission's finance function.
• IEC/CBO/GRE Expert: leads information, education and communication outreach, including social media and design work.
• Consultant Capacity Building: strengthens institutional capacity and develops training curricula for the mission's partners.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: Each post is filled purely on contract, initially for one year, extendable depending on your performance, conduct and the project's duration.
• Selection route: Candidates for the Project Coordinator, MIS Analyst, IEC Expert and Consultant posts (Sr. 1-7) are shortlisted for a written test, while the Verifier post (Sr. 8) goes directly to interview.
• No TA/DA: The mission does not reimburse travel or daily allowance for the written test.
• Mission's discretion: The State Mission Director can increase, decrease or cancel any of these vacancies without giving a reason.
