Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, has announced a walk-in interview for the One Year TMC Fellowship in Thoracic Radiation Oncology in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. No online application is needed — you just need to show up for the interview with your documents. This fellowship suits doctors who have completed their MD or DNB in Radiation Oncology and want hands-on training in thoracic cancer treatment at one of India's leading cancer hospitals.

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), set up in 1941, is India's National Comprehensive Cancer Centre and runs Tata Memorial Hospital along with several regional cancer centres across the country under the Department of Atomic Energy. Training at TMC exposes fellows to a very high volume of thoracic cancer cases, modern radiotherapy equipment (including IMRT and IGRT), and joint clinics with surgical and medical oncology teams, making it one of the most sought-after fellowships for radiation oncologists in India.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology, or an equivalent postgraduate degree with at least 1 year of experience.
• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply for this fellowship.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 40 years old to apply for this fellowship.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, and Persons with Disabilities get 10 years of relaxation.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,33,623 per month (gross pay) for MD/DNB holders.

Selection Process (Walk-In Interview)

TMC will select the fellow through a direct walk-in interview — there is no written exam for this post:

1. Document Verification: Bring your resume, photo ID proof, and original plus attested copies of qualification and experience certificates.
2. Personal Interview: Conducted on the spot by the Department of Radiation Oncology.
