SCTIMST Senior Project Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview
Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) is hiring a Senior Project Associate for a study of Yoga Nidra and insomnia in peri-menopausal women. The project sits within the Biomedical Technology Wing at Poojappura in Thiruvananthapuram and receives funding through the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Wise Kiran programme.
The study focuses on neural correlates of Yoga Nidra, linking yoga practice with sleep research. You would join the team through a project appointment tied to this study, identified in the notice as P.8216.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: The initial appointment runs up to 28 January 2027. The notice allows for a possible extension, so you should treat an extension as a possibility rather than a confirmed commitment.
- Backlog reservation: This is an ST backlog opening. If no suitable ST candidate is available, the institute will consider OBC candidates. It will consider unreserved candidates if suitable OBC candidates are also unavailable.
- Travel expenses: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview. You will need to make your own arrangements for the visit.
