Who Can Apply?

Finance, HR, Medical, Legal and CC Lab Posts

  • Finance: You need CA/CMA, or a commerce/finance graduation with MBA, MMS, PGDM or equivalent master degree in Finance. M.Com is not accepted for this post.
  • HR: You need graduation plus a 2-year full-time PG degree or diploma in HR, Personnel, Social Work, Welfare, Industrial Relations or Labour Studies. Law qualification and Marathi knowledge are preferred.
  • Medical: You need MBBS with completed internship and registration with the Medical Council of India, Maharashtra Medical Council or any State Medical Council.
  • CC Lab: You need Ph.D. in Chemistry or a full-time B.E./B.Tech in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or Chemical Technology.
  • Legal: You need a regular full-time Law degree or a 5-year integrated Law degree from a recognised university.

Engineering Posts

  • Assistant Engineer (Electrical): You need a full-time Diploma in Electrical or allied electrical engineering/technology branches.
  • Electrical Engineers: You need B.E./B.Tech or an eligible integrated degree in Electrical, Electrical and Power or Electrical Power Engineering.
  • Civil Engineers: You need B.E./B.Tech or an eligible integrated degree in Civil, Construction, Infrastructure or related civil engineering branches.
  • Experience: The minimum post-qualification experience starts from 2 years and goes up to 17 years depending on the grade and post.

Age Limit

  • Age reference date: Age and eligibility are counted as on 01 March 2026.
  • Upper age limits vary by post: Examples include 34 years for several UR E1 engineering posts, 36 years for E2 posts, 38 years for Deputy Manager (Electrical), 42 years for Assistant Engineer (Electrical), and 52 years for Senior Manager (CC Lab) OBC (NCL).
  • Reserved category relaxation: SC/ST get 5 years and OBC (NCL) get 3 years where the post is reserved for that category.
  • PwBD relaxation: UR/EWS PwBD can get up to 10 years, SC/ST PwBD up to 15 years, and OBC (NCL) PwBD up to 13 years as per rules.
  • 1984 riots concession: Children or family members of victims of the 1984 riots get an additional 5 years where applicable.

Salary

  • Assistant Engineer E0: Pay scale Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 1,20,000; minimum gross salary around Rs. 65,000 per month.
  • Engineer / Officer E1: Pay scale Rs. 40,000 - Rs. 1,40,000; minimum gross salary around Rs. 86,960 per month.
  • Senior Engineer E2: Pay scale Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 1,60,000; minimum gross salary around Rs. 1,08,700 per month.
  • Deputy Manager E3: Pay scale Rs. 60,000 - Rs. 1,80,000; minimum gross salary around Rs. 1,30,440 per month.
  • Senior Manager E5: Pay scale Rs. 80,000 - Rs. 2,20,000; minimum gross salary around Rs. 1,73,920 per month.
  • Allowances: The gross salary includes basic pay, VDA, perks and HRA. Officer (Medical) also gets 25% Non-Practicing Allowance.

Application Fee

  • General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: Rs. 1,000 plus bank charges and applicable GST.
  • SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / Female candidates: No application fee.
  • Payment mode: Online payment through internet banking, credit card or debit card only.
  • Refund rule: The fee is non-refundable after payment.

Selection Process

The selection process depends on the grade of the post. RCF will verify documents before the interview or skill test, and final appointment is subject to pre-employment medical fitness.

  1. Skill Test for E0 Grade: Assistant Engineer (Electrical) candidates will face a skill test for 100 marks. It covers practical job knowledge and handling of technical equipment (70 marks), safety awareness and computer knowledge (20 marks), and communication skills (10 marks). You need 60 marks to qualify, or 55 marks for SC/ST candidates.
  2. Personal Interview for E1 and Above: Officer, Engineer, Senior Engineer, Deputy Manager and Senior Manager posts use a personal interview for 100 marks. The interview checks personality and communication, subject knowledge, experience, general awareness, computer knowledge and additional qualification.
  3. Document Verification: You must show original documents and valid photo ID when called. Missing or false documents can lead to rejection.
  4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must meet RCF pre-employment medical standards before joining.
