Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) has updated the Apprentice recruitment schedule for 14 Apprentice posts. The official opportunities page now lists the last date of submission as 14 June 2026, 23:59. RCB also issued a circular stating that the walk-in interviews scheduled from 8 June to 12 June 2026 are postponed. Fresh interview dates will be announced later on the RCB website.

Who Can Apply?

  • Biological Science: B.Tech or B.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Microbiology.
  • Commerce/Arts: B.Com or B.A.
  • Engineering: B.E. or B.Tech in Civil, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Management: Graduate candidates can apply.
  • Information Technology: Graduate or BCA with Diploma in Computer Applications.
  • Painter: 10th and 12th pass candidates can apply.
  • NATS registration: Candidates should be registered on nats.education.gov.in and should not have already taken apprenticeship training.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 14 years
  • Maximum age: 28 years as on 19 May 2026
  • Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and Ex-servicemen candidates.

Stipend and Duration

  • Stipend: Rs. 13,500 per month
  • Training duration: 1 year

Selection Process

  1. Merit-based shortlisting: Selection is based on marks secured in the relevant degree or diploma course.
  2. Document checking: Candidates need original certificates, degree/marksheets, CV, Aadhaar card, and passport-size photos.
  3. Interview: The earlier 8-12 June 2026 walk-in schedule is postponed. RCB will announce fresh dates later.

  • Complete the assignments and tasks given by your supervisor on time

Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Commerce or relevant field with good marks

Basic computer knowledge; trade-relevant academic background; NATS registration

आयु सीमा

14 - 28 वर्ष (19 मई 2026 तक)

The walk-in interviews are held between 8 June and 12 June 2026. Biological Science candidates report on 8-9 June and other trades on 10-12 June 2026.

Selected apprentices get a stipend of Rs. 13,500 per month for the 1-year training period. No TA/DA is paid for the interview.

It depends on the trade — from 10th and 12th pass (Painter) to Graduate, B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Com or BCA. Age limit is 14 to 28 years as on 19 May 2026 and you must register on the NATS portal.

First register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in), then attend the walk-in interview at RCB, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad with your original documents on the date fixed for your trade.

There is no written exam. Selection is based on merit (your degree or diploma marks) followed by document verification at the walk-in interview.
