The Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (SSSB) has released Advertisement No. 03 of 2026 for 681 Craft Instructor posts under the Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab. These instructors will teach in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across various trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic, and other technical disciplines. Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary under Pay Level 6 (approx. Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month) of the Punjab Government pay scales.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Punjab Government rules.
• As a permanent government employee, you will also be covered under standard government service benefits.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Written Exam: The exam has two parts. Part A is a qualifying Punjabi Language Test — you must score at least 50% to get Part B evaluated. Part B covers General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics, English, and trade-specific technical questions related to your applied trade.

Only candidates who clear Part A move on to have their Part B answers evaluated, and the final merit list is prepared using Part B marks. Since the trade-specific section carries the highest weightage in Part B, focus most of your preparation time there.
