PRSU JRF and Project Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and a Project Fellow for a research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under its SHRI scheme. The project is titled "Metal Art of Chhattisgarh: A Socio-Techno Analysis" and is run from the university's School of Studies (SoS) in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology.
The two posts bring two very different backgrounds onto one team — a history and archaeology researcher on one side and a chemistry graduate who can work with lab instruments on the other. Both are temporary project positions, so this suits you if you want hands-on research experience on a funded project rather than a permanent university job.

- Junior Research Fellow (Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology): the humanities-side post for an M.A. holder in this subject who has cleared CSIR or UGC NET. Field work experience in archaeology gives you an edge.
