PAU Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow for its Department of Soil Science in Ludhiana. The contractual engagement supports research on Nano Urea Plus and Nano DAP across different cropping systems. You would join a scheme focused on how these products perform in crop production.
The project is identified as Misc-111(PC-8020). Its focus is the performance of these fertiliser products and their connection with cropping-system productivity, which gives this opening a specific agricultural research context.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract period: The engagement is for six months under the named research scheme. Treat this as a project-linked contract when considering the opportunity.
- Interview communication: PAU will not send a separate interview intimation. You need to use the arrangements given in the notice to plan your attendance.
- Travel costs: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Make your travel arrangements with this condition in mind.
- Complete applications: The department will not consider incomplete applications or applications without the supporting records it asks for.

The prescribed application form is available from the office of the Head, Department of Soil Science, PAU, Ludhiana; the notice links its issue to a bank draft in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. Your completed application must reach the department office, so allow for delivery time when planning your application.
The interview venue is the office room of the Head, Department of Soil Science, with reporting at 11.30 AM on the announced interview day. The application deadline and interview date are separate; sending your form does not replace attending the interview.

Get the prescribed form from the Head, Department of Soil Science, PAU, Ludhiana, using a Rs. 200 bank draft payable to Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. Send your completed form and attested supporting certificates to the department office.
You will receive Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA during the six-month contractual engagement.
You must attend the interview on 9 October 2026 at 11.30 AM in the Head of Department’s office room. No separate intimation or TA/DA will be provided.
