NMPA Senior Deputy Secretary Recruitment 2026: Overview
New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) is recruiting a Senior Deputy Secretary, a Deputy Head of Department role in its General Administration Department at Panambur, Mangalore. The notice offers a deputation appointment from other government organisations, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Service framework: If selected, you will work under the port authority's service rules and regulations, including amendments made to them. The appointment also follows the terms laid down by the Central Government.
- Employer involvement: Your current organisation must forward your application through the proper channel. An advance copy alone does not complete this requirement, so your office has a separate role in making the application valid.

The notice prescribes the Ministry's Online Application Portal and also requires a printout routed through your current office. Your office must send the application to Secretary, New Mangalore Port Authority, General Administration Department, Administrative Building, Panambur, Mangalore 575010.

Serving officers holding analogous posts, or Deputy Secretary/equivalent General Administration posts in the Rs. 13,000-18,250 scale with 3 years of regular service in the grade. Consult Annexure I for the complete educational requirements.
