NIT Goa Assistant Librarian Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) is recruiting an Assistant Librarian on a temporary contract at its Cuncolim campus. The notice focuses on the library and information science discipline and highlights computerised library services. You will be considered for a limited engagement under the institute's temporary appointment rules.

Master's in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science, or equivalent professional degree, with at least 60% or equivalent grade (6.5/10 or B on the UGC seven-point scale); consistently good academic record and superior knowledge of computerised library services; NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC or an approved agency.

PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking, PGDCA or equivalent. PhD or equivalent higher degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
