NIMS Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad is recruiting a research scientist and technical support staff for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) extramural project in the Department of Radiation Oncology. The study concerns precision radiation for rectal cancer and compares genomic profile-guided treatment with standard neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced rectal cancer. These are temporary project engagements under principal investigator Dr. Monica Malik, Professor and Head of Radiation Oncology.
Posts and Disciplines
- Research Scientist-II (Scientist C): This is the scientific research role in the rectal cancer project. The notice connects the post with life sciences and molecular research.
- Project Technical Support-II: This post belongs to the project's laboratory and technical support side. It is listed separately from the scientist role and the other technical support grade.
- Project Technical Support-III: This is a separate technical post within the same study. All the advertised roles relate to the common radiation oncology project at NIMS.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project appointment: Your appointment would be temporary. Working on this project gives you no right to claim a regular position at NIMS.
- Initial tenure: Each engagement begins with a one-year term. NIMS may extend the term if the project requires it, so you should not treat further service as guaranteed.
- Travel costs: NIMS will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. The same restriction applies to travel for joining the post.
