National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Kundli (NIFTEM-K) is hiring a Project Fellow for its study on sustainable value chains and carbon revenue generation for agro-food companies and farmer producer organisations (FPOs) in Haryana. The engagement belongs to the Food Business Management and Entrepreneurship Development department and is tied to the project.

The project brings together agri-food value chains, sustainability and carbon revenue. Its participants include companies, FPOs and other value-chain stakeholders, with field interactions across Haryana forming an important part of the research setting.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The planned duration is 18 months. Your initial engagement is for 9 months, with a possible extension for another 9 months.
• Extension conditions: An extension depends on satisfactory performance and the project continuing. The appointment is temporary and ends with the project; the notice does not offer a continuing institute position.
• Work setting: Your base will be NIFTEM-Kundli in Sonipat. The notice also calls for extensive field visits to agro-food companies and FPOs across Haryana, so the role includes work away from the campus.
• Interview travel: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to plan your attendance with this condition in mind.
