Who Can Apply?

For Manager - RE (E-4 Grade):

• Full-time Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical) with at least 60% marks from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in the Power Sector (Govt/PSU/Private), including at least 4 years in a Renewable Energy developer company with grid-connected Solar/Wind/BESS projects of 50 MW or more.

For Manager - Finance (E-4 Grade):

• CA or CMA (previously ICWA) qualified from a recognized statutory institute.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Finance/Accounts (excluding articleship period).
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Data Analytics is preferred; preference is given to candidates who have worked with an RE Developer company.

For Manager - Land (E-4 Grade):

• Full-time PG Degree/Diploma in Rural Management, Rural Development, Resettlement, Rehabilitation, Community Development, Sustainable Development, or a related field — OR MSW, MBA, or an Engineering Graduate degree with 60%+ marks.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in land acquisition/aggregation/management, including at least 4 years with Renewable Energy developers (50 MW or more Solar/Wind/BESS projects).

Note: Candidates from Government/PSU organizations applying for these E-4 posts need at least 2 years of experience in E-3 grade or equivalent scale (Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 IDA) within their 10 years of executive experience.

Age Limit

• You should be under 40 years old for all three posts, as on the last date of receipt of online application (31 August 2026).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen is as per government guidelines.
• All computations of your age, qualification, and experience will be done with reference to the last date of receipt of the online application — make sure your documents are ready in advance.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 per month under the E-4 Grade (IDA pay scale, effective 01.01.2017).
• You will also get DA and other allowances as per NGEL/DPE norms.

Selection Process

NGEL may use a multi-stage selection process depending on the number of applications received:

1. Application Screening: Based on your qualification, percentage of marks, and years of experience.
2. Written Test / Group Discussion: May be conducted to shortlist candidates, at NGEL's discretion.
3. Interview: Personal interview with the Selection Committee.
4. Medical Examination: You must clear a medical fitness test at a designated government hospital (with at least district hospital status) before joining. There is no relaxation in the prescribed health standards — review the detailed medical norms published on ngel.in before applying.
