North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is hiring a Project Research Scientist I Non-Medical in its Department of Biomedical Engineering at Shillong. The project, Transforming Non-Surgical Treatment of Robin Sequence Infants with a Patient-Specific Pre-Epiglottic Baton Plate, combines biomedical design with clinical needs. The team aims to create patient-specific devices for infants using digital design and additive manufacturing, so the scientist will help connect engineering models, prototypes and medical use. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The research programme runs for three years during 2026-2029, and the appointment remains subject to the applicable project, ICMR and NEHU rules.
