MRSPTU Registrar Recruitment 2026: Overview
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda is looking for a Registrar — the senior officer who runs the university's administration, statutory work and record keeping. The post is in the General category and is filled on a tenure basis, with qualifications set according to UGC norms.
This is a re-advertisement: the university first advertised the same post under advt. no. MRSPTU/ESTB/2024/DPR/535. Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: Three years or until you reach the age of superannuation, whichever comes first.
- Punjabi language: Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric standard is essential.
- Earlier applicants must re-apply: If you applied under advt. no. 535 of 2024, your old application will not be considered. Apply again in the new format, but you do not pay the fee a second time.
- Serving employees: Apply through proper channel; you may send an advance copy meanwhile.
- Certificates: Your degree certificate, Gazette result notification or original DMCs must be issued on or before the last date. A provisional certificate issued before the Gazette notification is not accepted.
- CGPA holders: Clearly state the CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula in the form.
- Pay rules: Pay instructions issued from time to time by the Punjab Finance and Technical Education Departments and UGC apply.
- Interview: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, and canvassing in any form disqualifies you.
- Legal disputes: Any case arising from this advertisement can be filed only in courts or tribunals at Bathinda.
Application Submission Notes
You apply in two parts. First fill the online application, then send a signed printout of the same form with self-attested copies of all supporting documents and the fee demand draft to the university by Speed Post, Registered Post or by hand.
The printout must reach MRSPTU by 5:00 PM on the closing day. The university is not responsible for postal delays, and incomplete applications may be rejected. Paste your latest passport photograph on the form and make sure the email address and mobile number you give are active — interview dates go out only by email or the university website to shortlisted candidates.
