Mizoram PSC Instructor (Stenographer) Recruitment 2026

Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) is hiring 1 Instructor (Stenographer) under the Labour, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (LESDE) Department, Government of Mizoram. If you have a B.Voc / Degree in Commerce or Arts (with shorthand and typing) or an equivalent qualification plus a National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC), you can apply online. Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) Instructor (Stenographer) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Mizoram Public Service Commission has released Advertisement No.15 of 2026-2027 dated 13 May 2026 for direct recruitment to 1 post of Instructor (Stenographer) in the Labour, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Mizoram. The post is classified as Group B (Non-Gazetted) and the Instructor will train candidates at an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) under the LESDE Department as per the prescribed Craftsman Training Scheme curriculum.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification (any one)

• B.Voc / Degree in Commerce or Arts (with Shorthand and Typing) from a UGC-recognised University with 1 year of experience in the relevant field, OR
• Diploma (minimum 2 years) in Commercial Practice from a recognised board, or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational), with 2 years of experience in the relevant field, OR
• NTC / NAC in the trade of Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (English) with 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

Essential Qualification

• Relevant Regular or RPL variants of National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) under the Directorate General of Training (DGT).

Other Requirements

• Computer Proficiency as prescribed by Mizoram Group A, B and C posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
• Mizo Language Proficiency: You must pass the qualifying test prescribed by the Government. Candidates who studied Mizo as a subject in HSLC (Class 10) or above within Mizoram, or who opted for Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram, are exempted from this test.
• Government servants must apply through proper channel.

Age Limit

• You must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 1 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates, or as notified by the Government from time to time.
• HSLC / HSSLC certificates showing date of birth are accepted as age proof.

Salary

• Pay Matrix: Level 6 as per 7th CPC (approximately Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month).
• Classification: Group B (Non-Gazetted).
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Mizoram Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection is conducted by the Mizoram Public Service Commission through a Direct Recruitment Examination:

1. Written Examination: Conducted by MPSC as per the syllabus published on the Commission's website.
2. Mizo Language Proficiency Test: Qualifying paper for candidates not exempted from this test.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates and eligibility documents are verified.

2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered. Probable applicants must register by 4:00 PM on the last date.
3. Log in and fill the online application form for Advertisement No.15 of 2026-2027.
4. Upload your marksheets and certificates (HSLC and above), Computer Proficiency Certificate, Mizo Language Proficiency Certificate, Age Proof, NCIC certificate, and any other relevant documents.
5. Pay the application fee online (UPI payment must use the mobile number registered in OTR). Persons with disabilities are exempted from fee payment.
6. Verify that your application is actually submitted after payment. Submit before 17 June 2026, 4:00 PM.

• Impart technical and vocational training to ITI trainees as per the prescribed Craftsman Training Scheme curriculum
• Teach shorthand, typing, and stenography skills to students in the Stenographer trade
• Prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, and learning materials for trainees
• Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, and assessments in the Industrial Training Institute
• Evaluate trainees through tests, projects, and end-term examinations
• Maintain attendance, performance records, and training reports
• Follow DGT norms, NCIC standards, and Government of Mizoram service rules at all times
