KSRLPS District Manager - Skills & Entrepreneurship Recruitment 2026

Karnataka State Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (KSRLPS) runs the Sanjeevini mission, the state version of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), under the Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods Department of the Government of Karnataka. The society has opened applications for the post of District Manager - Skills & Entrepreneurship in the Chitradurga district. This is a leadership role where you will drive skills training and job placement work for rural youth at the district level. Experienced rural development and livelihoods professionals are best suited for this post.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have a full-time 2-year Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, MSW, MBA, Agricultural Sciences, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience

• You need a minimum of 5 years of relevant thematic or program experience in Rural Development.
• You should have experience handling a large, multi-disciplinary team and running livelihoods and SHG (Self Help Group) programs with clear leadership skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year as a District Manager or 3 years as a Taluk Project Manager.

Other Requirements

• You must be able to read, write and speak Kannada and English.
• You need good working knowledge of computers.

• Maximum age: Below 45 years

• Lead the design of annual and long-term work plans for skills and job placement in the district
• Identify stakeholders for skill development training with focus on social inclusion and gender
• Plan skill training programs that match the demand and supply of jobs in the district
• Manage partnerships and convergence with other agencies and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain a database of rural youth and update the Jobs MIS at district level
• Plan and conduct job fairs to place trained rural youth in employment
• Track selected youth during training and placement, and facilitate bank linkage for beneficiaries
• Report regularly to the State Mission Management Unit through MPRs, QPRs and other reports
