• Technical knowledge: You should know WAP-7/WAG-9 or similar loco systems such as propulsion, brake, bogie, and traction transformer.
• Codes and standards: You should know relevant Railway Board, RDSO, and other technical specifications.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 58 years as on 8 May 2026, the date of notification.

Salary

• Pay scale: 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 7.
• Indicative Level 7 pay range: Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month.
• The employee will draw the pay admissible from time to time on the Railway plus deputation duty allowance.
• Retention of railway accommodation during deputation tenure in KRCL is not allowed.
