King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow has released a walk-in interview notice for 1 Senior Resident (Un-registered) post in the VIP Clinic, Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences. This is a short-term engagement under the Office of the Medical Superintendent, Gandhi Memorial & Associated Hospitals. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed M.D.S. in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics/Periodontics, recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Category: This post is reserved for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates.
• Domicile: Reservation benefits apply only to candidates with Uttar Pradesh domicile. Reserved category candidates with domicile of other states will be treated as unreserved.
• OBC Certificate: Must be issued less than 6 months before the date of application.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for Senior Resident is 45 years, as per DCI rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection happens through a direct walk-in interview — there is no written test.

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on 17 July 2026 at the Committee Hall, Medical Superintendent Office, GM & AH, KGMU, Lucknow. Reporting time is 1:30 PM and the interview starts at 2:00 PM.
2. Document Verification: Bring one set of self-attested photocopies plus original certificates and testimonials for verification at the interview.

2. Fill in the form with your personal, academic and category details.
3. Attach self-certified copies of your MDS degree, mark sheets, DCI/State registration proof and age proof.
4. Submit the filled form at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, GM & AH, KGMU, Lucknow by 16 July 2026.
5. Attend the walk-in interview on 17 July 2026 with your original documents.

General Information

• No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
• Seats may vary as per further DGME UP adjustment under the compulsory government service bond (G.O. No. 950/71-2-82/2017 dated 07 March 2018).
• The number of posts advertised may increase or decrease at the time of interview.
• The Vice Chancellor reserves the absolute discretion to cancel the advertisement in part or whole, without assigning any reason.
• If selected, you must submit affidavits as per Annexure 1 & 2 on a Rs. 10 e-stamp paper regarding previous experience and caste certificate at the time of joining.
• State Medical Registration is mandatory before joining, if selected.
• Pay and allowances will be as per KGMU / University rules.
