King George's Medical University (KGMU) Project Technical Support-III Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

King George's Medical University (KGMU), through its Department of Psychiatry, has released Advertisement No. 1350 for 1 Project Technical Support-III post under the "National Survey on Extent and Pattern of Substance Use in India (NDUS-2025)" project. The survey is commissioned by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India and coordinated by the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS New Delhi, under Principal Investigator Dr. Vivek Agarwal, Professor and Head of Psychiatry at KGMU. The post is based primarily at KGMU, Lucknow with travel within Uttar Pradesh, for an initial period of six months (or till the current project phase ends), extendable based on funding and performance. No written exam is required — selection is through document scrutiny and an interview.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Three-year graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Statistics, Population Studies, or any allied health/social science discipline, with 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• OR a postgraduate degree in any of the above subjects (no separate experience requirement in this case).

Age Limit

• You should be up to 35 years old to apply for this post.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get Rs. 28,000 per month plus HRA as admissible, as per prevailing ICMR norms and the approved project budget.

Selection Process

Selection for this post is done in two stages:

1. Document Scrutiny: Your application, degree, marksheet, resume and other documents will be checked for eligibility.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the Department of Psychiatry, KGMU, Lucknow.
