The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has published Category No. 090/2026, inviting online applications for the post of Junior Clerk under Part I (General Category) in the Apex Societies of the Co-operative Sector in Kerala. This notification is against anticipated vacancies, and the ranked list prepared from it will stay valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. Vacancies reported from Apex Societies other than MATSYAFED will be shared equally (1:1) between Part I (General Category) and Part II (Society Category), while vacancies from MATSYAFED will be shared in a 5:3:2 ratio between Part I (General), Part II (Fishermen/Dependent of Fishermen) and Part III (Society). Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (any one of the following): Degree from a recognised university with Higher Diploma in Co-operation (HDC), HDC & Business Management (BM), or Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC)
• OR B.Com with Co-operation as a subject
• OR B.Sc in Co-operation & Banking from Kerala Agriculture University. Higher or equivalent qualifications recognised by Government Executive Orders, Standing Orders, or accepted by the Commission, are also considered sufficient for this post.
• Method of Appointment: This post will be filled through Direct Recruitment.
• Reservation: 4% of vacancies will be reserved for persons with disabilities, as per Government Order (P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 44 years old — only candidates born between 2 January 1982 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply for this post.
• Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST get the usual age relaxation, though the maximum age after relaxation cannot exceed 50 years under any circumstance.
• Provisional Employees: Provisional hands working in any of the 29 co-operative institutions listed under Government Order (P) No.41/98 dated 09.03.1998 get relaxation equal to their provisional service, up to a maximum of 5 years, provided they completed at least one year of provisional service. This concession is not available once you hold a regular post in a co-operative institution.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary in the scale of Rs. 17,400 to Rs. 46,450 per month for the Junior Clerk post.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as applicable to employees of the concerned Apex Society.

Selection Process

The selection for this post will be done as follows:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test (if conducted as part of this selection) — you must submit a confirmation for writing the exam through your One Time Registration profile. Only candidates who confirm can generate and download their Admit Card, available in the last 15 days before the test.
2. Document Verification — you must produce original documents proving your qualification, age, experience and community details whenever the Commission asks for them.

Kerala PSC will announce the exact examination calendar and test details on candidate profiles and registered mobile numbers closer to the date.

2. If you are a new user, complete One Time Registration (OTR); existing users can log in with their User-ID and password.
3. Open your profile and click 'Apply Now' against the Notification Link for Category No. 090/2026.
4. Make sure your photograph, Aadhaar details and personal information are updated correctly. Do not create multiple profiles.
5. Review your application carefully — it becomes provisional once submitted and cannot be edited or deleted later.
6. Submit your application and save a printout or soft copy for your records — you will need to attach this printout with any future correspondence you send to the Commission about your application.
