Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) Sales Assistant Grade II Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

Kerala PSC has issued the Fifth NCA (Non-Community Applicant) Notification, Part II - Society Category under Category Numbers 110/2026 to 112/2026 to fill 4 backlog vacancies of Sales Assistant Grade II in COIRFED, the Kerala Government's coir marketing federation that sells coir and coir products through its own network of showrooms. This is not a general recruitment — only regular employees of Co-operative Societies affiliated to COIRFED, belonging to Scheduled Caste, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian or OBC communities, can apply.

This is actually the fifth time Kerala PSC has re-notified these vacancies — the original Ranked List for this post was published back on 9 April 2021, and PSC has issued fresh NCA notifications in 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025 and now 2026 because not enough eligible candidates from these reserved communities came forward earlier. If you meet the criteria, this long-standing backlog gives you a real chance of selection with comparatively less competition than a fresh, general-category drive. The selection will be made on a statewide basis, and once appointed, you will need to work at COIRFED showrooms, which may be located outside Kerala. Selected candidates will be on probation for one year (to be completed within a continuous period of two years) before being confirmed in the post.

Who Can Apply?

• Employment: You must have at least 3 years of regular service in any cadre of a Co-operative Society affiliated to COIRFED, and you must still be working there both when you apply and when you are appointed.
• Qualification: A degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Language: You should have studied Hindi up to the +2 level.
• Typing/Computer Skill: Typewriting English (Lower) KGTE, OR successful completion of a 6-month computer application course recognized by the State or Central Government.
• Category-wise vacancies: Scheduled Caste (2 posts), Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian (1 post) and OBC (1 post). If no Scheduled Caste candidate is available, Scheduled Tribe candidates will be considered instead.

Qualifications recognized as equivalent or higher by government executive/standing orders are also accepted, including lower qualifications that pre-suppose the prescribed one — check the detailed notification for the full list. You will need to produce the Government Order proving the equivalence when the Commission asks for it.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 50 years old — candidates born between 2 January 1976 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) are eligible.
• No further relaxation of the upper age limit is permitted.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 15,190 to Rs. 30,190 per month as Sales Assistant Grade II.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per COIRFED / Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection may include the following stages:

1. Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted): You must confirm your willingness to write the test through your One Time Registration profile — you can download your admission ticket in the last 15 days before the test date once you confirm.
2. Certificate Verification: You need to upload your Service Certificate, degree certificate and community certificate at the time of application, and produce the originals when called for.

2. Log in to your profile using your User-ID and password. Do not create a second, duplicate profile.

4. Upload your Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General), Co-operative Department, along with your educational and community certificates.
5. Add your Aadhaar Card as ID proof in your profile, if you haven't already.
