Kerala PSC Draftsman Grade II Recruitment 2026

Kerala PSC Draftsman Grade II Recruitment 2026: Overview

Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) is recruiting a Draftsman Grade II for the Hydrographic Survey Wing of Kerala Ports Service. This is a regular government appointment through direct recruitment, with selection organised across Kerala. The notification identifies the hydrographic wing specifically, so you should use that department name when checking the matching entry in your profile.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Probation: You will complete two years on duty within a continuous three-year period after joining. The notification sets this service condition separately from the validity of the recruitment list.
• Ranked-list validity: The list normally remains active for at least one year and can continue for up to three years. A new list published after the first year ends the earlier list.
• Further appointments: Kerala PSC can use the same list for additional vacancies reported while it remains active. The initial notification therefore does not limit the list to the posts already reported.
• Disability reservation: The notice reserves 4% of reported vacancies for the disability categories covered by the government orders it cites. The applicable categories are those in those orders.
• Application status: Acceptance of your online form is provisional. Kerala PSC can reject it later if a claim does not meet the notification conditions.
• Corrections: A profile correction made after the closing date does not change this application. The notice says such corrections take effect only from the date they are made.
• Accuracy of claims: Incorrect education or experience claims can lead to disqualification or further action under the commission's rules. Check what you claim before final submission.
