Who Can Apply?

• Reservation: 3% of the total vacancies reported will be reserved for eligible candidates with disabilities, as per Government Order (P) No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013.
• Probation: The probation period will apply as per the Special Rules of the Kerala Water Authority.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old — only candidates born between 2 January 1986 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply for this post.
• Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST are eligible for the usual age relaxation under Kerala PSC rules.
• Provisional Hands: If you are already working provisionally in the Kerala Water Authority, you get age relaxation equal to your provisional service, up to a maximum of 5 years above the upper age limit — provided you were within the prescribed age limit at your first appointment. This concession does not apply if you already hold a regular post in the organisation.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary in the scale of Rs. 36,500 to Rs. 89,000 per month, as applicable to the Draftsman Gr I / Sub Engineer post in the Kerala Water Authority.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Water Authority service rules.

Selection Process

The selection for this post will be done as follows:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test (if conducted as part of this selection) — you will need to submit a confirmation for writing the exam through your One Time Registration profile. Only candidates who confirm can generate and download their Admit Card, available in the last 15 days before the test.
2. Document Verification — you must produce original documents proving your qualification, age, experience and community details whenever the Commission calls for them.

5. Review your application carefully — it becomes provisional once submitted and cannot be edited or deleted later.
