IPRCL has released notification for 10 Graduate and Diploma Apprentice Trainee posts in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks can apply offline. Last date to apply is 25 March 2026. Age limit is up to 23 years.

Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL), under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has invited applications for Graduate Apprentice Trainee and Diploma Apprentice Trainee posts for the year 2026. This is a one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

A total of 10 posts are available in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering streams. This is a great opportunity for fresh engineering graduates and diploma holders to get hands-on training in a Government of India undertaking.

Mechanical Engineering (Graduate + Diploma): 2 posts

Who Can Apply

You must have a Degree (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
You need at least 60% aggregate marks. SC/ST candidates need at least 55%.
Your degree or diploma must have been completed on or after 01 January 2025.
You must not have more than 1 year of job experience.
You must not have completed an apprenticeship anywhere before.
You must be registered on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.

Age Limit (as on 25 March 2026)

Maximum age: 23 years
Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates

Stipend

Graduate Apprentice Trainee: Rs. 12,300 per month
Diploma Apprentice Trainee: Rs. 10,900 per month

No other allowances are provided. IPRCL will not arrange boarding or lodging.

Selection Process

There is no written exam or interview. Selection will be based purely on merit — your percentage of marks in your degree or diploma. Shortlisted candidates will need to submit their original documents for verification.

Training Details

The apprenticeship training will be for 1 year under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Training can be in any of IPRCL's offices across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Bilaspur, Vijayawada, Gandhidham, Visakhapatnam, and Nagpur. Please note that completing this training does not guarantee a permanent job with IPRCL.

Learn and apply engineering principles relevant to port, rail, and ropeway infrastructure projects

पात्रता मानदंड

न्यूनतम योग्यता
