IITGN Project Assistant I Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is hiring a Project Assistant-I at its Center for Creative Learning under Prof. Manish Jain. The project is 30-30 Eklavya 2024-26, with work supporting experiential climate education through schools, teachers and Community Science Centers (CSCs). The engagement connects campus activities with partner institutions and program locations.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Appointment period: This is a temporary project engagement for one year. Keep that stated tenure in mind when considering the position.
- Project setting: The work is based at IIT Gandhinagar and includes activities at other program locations. Field visits and travel form part of the role.
- Partner network: The notice places the work across schools, Community Science Centers and other project partners. Your work setting therefore includes both institute and outreach activities.
- Learning format: The program combines online experiential sessions with workshops and hands-on activities. Its climate education focus also extends to exhibitions and outreach.
- Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee that the institute will shortlist or appoint you. IITGN may use a higher cut-off when considering applications.
- Institute discretion: IITGN may decide not to call an applicant for a selection test. It also reserves the choice to leave the position unfilled in this recruitment round without giving a reason.

जिम्मेदारियाँ
- Help plan climate education workshops, exhibitions and school outreach.
- Support online learning sessions and related student activities.
- Help organize hands-on training for teachers at IITGN and partner locations.
- Keep attendance, activity reports, photographs, videos and program records.
- Collect participant feedback and basic field data for project monitoring.
- Travel to schools, Community Science Centers and other program locations.
पात्रता मानदंड
न्यूनतम योग्यता
B.C.A./B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline. At least 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in Classes 10 and 12.
वांछित योग्यता
Experience in education, science outreach, experiential learning, environmental education or community programs. Familiarity with climate change and sustainability.
आवश्यक कौशल
Desirable: workshop support and working with teachers or students.
