Service Conditions and Caveats

• Consolidated engagement: Pay is consolidated, with no separate HRA and no campus accommodation. The institute may fix the final rate within its approved range after considering your qualification and experience.
• Field travel: You may need to travel for inspections, investigations, meetings and other project work, and you may sometimes stay at a project site. Field-visit payments are handled separately under IIT Ropar R&D norms.
• Work ownership: The role can include independent follow-up on deliverables, project documentation, quality records, site observations and internal institute formalities.
• Selection flexibility: The Selection Committee will decide whether an allied discipline and a candidate's experience are relevant. It may relax the stated eligibility conditions when it considers that necessary.
