IIT Bhubaneswar, located at Argul near Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has released Advertisement No. Rectt-Contract/02/Non-Teaching/2026, dated 7 August 2026, for 3 ERP Implementation Architect posts on a contract basis. As the Institute modernizes its administrative systems, you will implement and customize ERP modules across different departments, working with platforms like Oracle, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, and handle the safe migration of legacy data into the new system. The initial contract is for 1 year and may be extended further based on your performance and the Institute's requirement. Engineers with strong programming and ERP platform skills should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project implementation roles in a reputed organization or industry.
• Skills: Strong in Java and Python programming, with in-depth knowledge of ERP platforms like Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphDB, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics. You should also know scripting languages (Python, Go, PHP, HTML, ASP.NET) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Desirable: A basic understanding of network security, firewalls and endpoint protection. Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or OSCP will help your application.

This role suits engineers who enjoy working directly with end users — you will map out how departments actually work and translate that into ERP configurations that fit their day-to-day needs.

• You should be up to 45 years old as on the last date of the online application.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month, based on your qualification, experience and performance in the interview/test.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

IIT Bhubaneswar will select candidates through:

1. Technical Demonstration: A skill test and/or presentation on ERP implementation.
2. Interview: A personal interview to check your technical knowledge and experience.

There is no separate written exam — your programming skills, ERP knowledge and interview performance together decide your selection.
