ESIC Faridabad Super Specialty Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, run by the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is engaging teaching faculty for its super specialty departments on contract. This is a single walk-in drive covering seventeen super specialty departments at once, running from cardiothoracic surgery and neurosurgery through to medical oncology, nephrology and rheumatology — the college is staffing the DM and MCh side of its teaching hospital, so it wants clinicians who already hold the super specialty training and can teach as well as treat. Faculty are taken at the Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels, and the Dean's office issued the notice under file number 134-A-14/13/Roster/2016-Admin.

Posts and Disciplines

Each department below opens only at the faculty levels shown against it, and the reservation marked is the one the roster carries for that department. You apply for one department at one level, and a separate application is needed for every post you want to be considered for.

Conditional note on the Paediatric Surgery posts: unreserved faculty are presently working against these reserved-category posts, so the college will hold the interview for them only if candidates from the respective reserved category actually turn up. Treat that department as uncertain until the interview day.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The contract starts at one year and can be extended up to three years, subject to approval and satisfactory performance. It is a contractual engagement, not a regular ESIC faculty post.
• Service ceiling: The engagement can continue only till you reach 70 years of age.
• Downgrading: If nobody suitable appears for a higher post, the board may interview a candidate eligible for the next lower level against it. If such a candidate is selected, the appointment is made at the lower post with the pay of that level.
• No service benefits: Provident fund, pension, gratuity and similar benefits do not apply to this engagement.
• Ending the contract: The service can be ended at any time in the public interest, and resignation needs one month's notice or one month's salary in its place.
• Security deposit: A refundable deposit is taken by demand draft for each faculty post. It comes back when the contract is completed and a No Dues Certificate is submitted, and is forfeited if you resign within six months, barring exceptional circumstances.
• Private practice: Not allowed during the contract, and attendance is marked through the biometric system.
• Quarters: Hostel or quarters are given only subject to availability.
• Travel: No TA or DA is paid for attending the interview.
• Cut-off: Age and eligibility are counted as on the date of the interview itself.
• Results: The outcome is put up on the ESIC website, the offer of appointment comes by e-mail, and joining follows the instructions in that letter.

This is an offline walk-in, so nothing is submitted online. Fill the application form printed with the advertisement, attach self-attested copies of your papers, and bring the set to the Examination Hall, Academic Hall, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, NH-3, NIT, Faridabad 121001, Haryana. Reporting is in a one-hour morning window, and the college checks documents before the interview — only verified candidates are allowed in, so reaching late is the same as not coming. The fee and the security deposit are accepted only as demand drafts drawn in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.1" and payable at Faridabad, so have them ready before you travel. Carry a separate application for each post you want to be considered for, and keep your EWS or OBC certificate in the proper Government of India format, because a wrong format is treated as no certificate.
