DHAS Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview
Dr. Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan (DHAS) is recruiting Senior Residents for its departments in Karkardooma, Delhi, under the Government of NCT of Delhi. This is an ad-hoc residency engagement under the government residency scheme, with continuation governed by the conditions in the notice. Radiology has a continuing walk-in arrangement, while the other departments share the scheduled interview day.

- Anaesthesia: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's anaesthesia department.

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial tenure: The appointment begins with 44 days. Further extensions depend on satisfactory work and conduct, and the arrangement ends earlier if a regular appointee joins.
- Extension limit: Extensions can run up to a total of 3 years, with a 1-day break after each 44-day spell. Previous regular or ad-hoc Senior Residency counts towards that overall tenure.
- Non-postgraduate appointments: Where the notice's alternative route is used, continuation also ends when a doctor with the required postgraduate qualification becomes available.
- Fresh-candidate priority: The hospital prepares a separate list under relaxed norms and uses it only after the fresh-candidate list is exhausted. Appointment from that second list is for 1 year and cannot be renewed.
- Service rules: Government residency provisions and the applicable temporary-service rules govern the engagement.
- Travel: You will not receive TA/DA for attending. The hospital can amend or cancel the notice.

Report to the Establishment Branch, Dr. Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan, Karkardooma, Delhi 110032. Registration runs from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and you must complete it within that window to appear before the interview board.
Radiology applicants: The continuing interview arrangement excludes Saturdays and Sundays and stops when the posts are filled. The other listed specialties follow the single scheduled day.
