CSIR NEERI Project Associate II Recruitment 2026: Overview
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) is hiring a Project Associate-II for its Centre for Sophisticated Environmental Analyticals in Nagpur. The engagement supports the project on managing research and development services for the centre’s analytical activities, identified as OLP-48. You would join as project staff, with an appointment linked to the project rather than a regular institute post.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project-linked engagement: Your appointment ends with the project. It does not create a right to regular appointment within CSIR or NEERI.
- Initial offer: The first appointment covers the period for which project funds are available. A longer project does not, by itself, guarantee that your own engagement will continue.
- Extension review: A committee will assess your performance before recommending an extension. Continued work also depends on project requirements and available funding.
- Overall tenure: Previous service under contract research projects in CSIR laboratories counts towards the applicable overall tenure ceiling. The notice refers to the relevant CSIR project-personnel guidelines.
- Waiting list: Further engagement from the waiting list depends on funds and a project extension. Treat that possibility as conditional rather than an assured additional appointment.
