CGPSC ADPPO Recruitment 2026

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is recruiting 15 Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer (ADPPO) posts for the Home Department. If you have a law graduate degree from a recognised university, you can apply online from 22 June 2026. The last date to apply is 21 July 2026, and the tentative exam date is 20 September 2026. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has issued Advertisement No. 03/2026/Exam dated 17 June 2026 for Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer posts under the Home Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a law graduate degree from a recognised university.
• Cut-off rule: Your required qualification must be held by the last date of online application.
• Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen or otherwise fall under a category accepted by the Government of India.
• Reservation benefit: SC, ST, OBC, women, PwBD and other reservation benefits are available only as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
• Probation: Selected candidates will be appointed on 3 years probation.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old as on 01 January 2026.
• Chhattisgarh local candidates: The notification mentions state relaxation that can take the upper age limit up to 40 years.
• SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) of Chhattisgarh: Up to 5 years relaxation is available as per rules.
• Local women candidates: Up to 10 years relaxation is mentioned for women who are local residents of Chhattisgarh.
• PwBD candidates: Up to 5 years relaxation is mentioned for persons with disabilities, subject to the accepted disability category.
• Overall cap: The notification says all relaxations together should not take the age above 45 years for special categories.

Salary

• Pay Matrix: Level 9
• Monthly pay scale: Rs. 38,100 to Rs. 1,20,400
• Selected candidates will also get DA and other allowances as per Chhattisgarh Government orders issued from time to time.

Application Fee

• Chhattisgarh local SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / PwBD candidates: Rs. 300
• All other categories and candidates outside Chhattisgarh: Rs. 400
• Portal fee and GST: Payable by all online applicants as per the portal rules.
• Correction fee: Paid correction after the free correction window costs Rs. 500.
• Fee refund note: The notification says exam fee is refunded to Chhattisgarh local candidates who appear in the exam or interview, but portal/service charges are not refunded.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through written exam and interview, followed by eligibility/document checks as per CGPSC rules.

The notification says the written exam centres may include Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg and Jagdalpur. CGPSC can increase or reduce centres based on the number of applications, so keep checking the official website after you apply.

1. Written Exam: One objective paper of 150 questions for 300 marks, with a duration of 3 hours.
2. Interview: Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for interview worth 30 marks.
3. Document Verification: CGPSC will check age, qualification, category, domicile and other certificates before final selection.
4. Final Merit: Final selection is based on total marks in the written exam and interview, category-wise.

4. Fill in personal details, qualification details, category details and other required information.
5. Upload your live photo, signature and required details as per the portal instructions.
6. Pay the application fee, portal fee and GST through the available online payment mode.
7. Submit the form before 21 July 2026, 11:59 PM and keep the application receipt safely.
