CCRUM RA SRF JRF Unani Recruitment 2026: Overview
Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), under the Ministry of Ayush, is recruiting for its Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) project at the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Bhadrak, Odisha. The notice covers Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow levels in Unani medicine within the same recruitment. Your engagement would be contractual and linked to the Council programme, with field duties included among the work that may be assigned.
Posts and Disciplines
- Research Associate (Unani): This is the RA level described in the Bhadrak project notice. It belongs to the same TSP engagement as the fellowship levels below.
- Senior Research Fellow (Unani): The SRF level is also based at RRIUM Bhadrak and forms part of the same programme.
- Junior Research Fellow (Unani): The JRF level completes the set of appointment options in this notice. The notification gives a shared recruitment total rather than a separate allocation for each level.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial tenure: The engagement starts with a six-month term. An extension depends on approval from the competent authority.
- Appointment status: Working under this contract does not give you a right to claim a regular appointment with the Council.
- Programme duties: You may be engaged against the Council programme and assigned work accordingly, including field duties. The notice does not give a separate daily task list for each level.
- Recruitment changes: The authority can postpone or cancel the exercise at any stage. Check the Council website for announcements before travelling.
- Travel costs: No travel or daily allowance is payable for attending the walk-in. Plan your visit with this condition in mind.
