BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) is holding walk-in recruitment for experienced project staff at its NCR Biotech Science Cluster campus in Faridabad. The notice combines research needs from neonatal microbiome science, microbial pathogenesis, pharmacokinetics and pancreatitis studies. Each role belongs to a different project team, so your academic field and hands-on experience should match the project you choose. These are short-term research engagements rather than permanent institute appointments.

Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Project Associate - Microbiome: Bioinformatics work for a neonatal sepsis programme studying gastrointestinal-tract microbiomes.
• Principal Project Associate - Microbial Pathogenesis: Laboratory research on polyphosphate signalling, tuberculosis bacteria and host immunity.
• Senior Project Associate - Bioanalyst: LC-MS/MS-based pharmacokinetic analysis for the Placenta Health adaptive-dose project.
• Project Associate-I - Clinical Data: Data and administrative support for a study on systemic inflammation in acute and chronic pancreatitis.

Post-wise Duties

Senior Project Associate - Microbiome

You will analyse 16S metagenomics, transcriptomics and whole-genome sequencing data and work with the bioinformatics pipelines needed to interpret the results. The team expects a strong microbiology base alongside practical sequence-analysis experience.

Principal Project Associate - Microbial Pathogenesis

You will support experiments involving Mycobacterium tuberculosis, flow cytometry and animal studies in a BSL-3 research setting. The project favours applicants who can work safely with infectious-disease models and translate laboratory observations into publishable research.

Senior Project Associate - Bioanalyst

You will operate and maintain LC-MS/MS systems, prepare biological samples and run routine bioanalysis for clinical and preclinical pharmacokinetic studies. The work includes method development and validation, reference-standard and reagent management, analytical protocols, study plans and accurate laboratory records.

You will also coordinate with the DMPK team to produce dependable drug and metabolite measurements from plasma, serum and tissue matrices. Good documentation and laboratory-safety practice are important parts of this role, not just instrument operation.

Project Associate-I - Clinical Data

You will handle clinical data entry, reconciliation and quality checks while supporting data-management and project teams. The role also includes maintaining official records, preparing briefing material and helping with meetings, training sessions, workshops and field visits.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Short-term appointment: Extension depends on satisfactory performance and the life of the relevant project. The appointment does not create a claim for regular employment.
• Eligibility cut-off: Age, qualification and experience are assessed on the walk-in date for the post you attend.
• Experience: Only experience gained after the minimum qualifying degree counts toward the advertised requirement.
• Screening: If turnout is high, THSTI may screen applicants by higher or more relevant qualifications and experience before the selection activity.
• Communication: Results and notices appear on the THSTI website, while direct communication is made by email.
• Vacancy variation: The institute may change its requirement by the time the walk-in selection is held.
