BPSC has released notification (Advt No. 09/2026) for 102 Auditor (Ankekshak) posts in Panchayati Raj Vibhag, Bihar. Candidates with graduation in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics can apply online. Last date to apply is 26 February 2026. Age limit is 21 to 37 years for General Male candidates. Selection through Preliminary and Main exams. Application fee is Rs. 100 for all categories.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an official notification (Advertisement No. 09/2026) to fill 102 Auditor (Ankekshak) posts in the Panchayati Raj Vibhag, Government of Bihar. Out of these, 28 are regular vacancies and 74 are backlog vacancies.

Selection Process

The selection will happen in three stages. There is no interview for this post.

Preliminary Exam (MCQ): 150 marks, 2 hours, with negative marking
Main Exam: Total 1,000 marks
- Paper 1 - Hindi: 100 marks
- Paper 2 & 3 - General Studies: 300 marks each (total 600 marks)
- Paper 4 - Optional Subject: 300 marks
Document Verification

Note: Hindi proficiency will be tested in Paper 1 of Mains. You also need to score minimum qualifying marks in Hindi in the Prelims exam.

Preliminary Exam (Screening): - Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - Total Marks: 150 - Duration: 2 hours - Negative marking applies for wrong answers - Minimum qualifying marks in Hindi section required Main Exam (Merit-based): - Total Marks: 1,000 - Paper 1 - Hindi: 100 marks (qualifying, tests Hindi proficiency) - Paper 2 - General Studies: 300 marks - Paper 3 - General Studies: 300 marks - Paper 4 - Optional Subject: 300 marks Final merit will be prepared based on Main Exam marks only.
