AIIMS Raipur Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur (AIIMS Raipur) is hiring one Data Entry Operator for a research project in its Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine. The project is funded by IBITF, IIT Bhilai and runs at two centres. It studies the financial impact of medical care given in remote areas using hand-held, low-cost point-of-care medical devices, with Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh as the case study.

Your place of work is the AIIMS Raipur campus at Tatibandh on GE Road. The job is a project engagement, not a post on the institute's regular staff, and it suits a graduate who is comfortable with study records, spreadsheets and basic statistics. The department picks its candidate through an interview.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Fixed project tenure: the engagement runs for 12 months and can go up to two years, depending on your performance and the funding agency's budget release.
• Not an AIIMS payroll job: the contract ends automatically when the 12 months from your joining date are over. You cannot claim permanent employment with AIIMS Raipur, the DHR or the principal investigator, and you cannot claim to continue in another project.
• Notice period: either side can end the appointment with one month's notice, without giving a reason.
• Whole-time work: you cannot take up any other paid or unpaid assignment and cannot do private practice of any kind while the contract runs.
• Leave: your leave follows the IBITF Bhilai policy for project staff, not the institute's rules for regular employees.
• Serving candidates: a No Objection Certificate is a must if you already work in a government, semi-government or PSU institution.
• No travel money: AIIMS Raipur pays no TA or DA for attending the interview.

The shortlist goes up on www.aiimsraipur.edu.in, and so do the date, time and venue of the interview. No separate letter or call is sent to anyone, so keep checking the website. Carry the filled application form, all original certificates, copies of your research publications, identity proof and two photographs with a set of self-attested copies when you come. If a large number of eligible applications arrive, the interview may spill over to the next day, so come prepared for that.
