All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur is recruiting a Project Technical Support-I laboratory professional for the Department of Pathology. The role supports an ICMR/DHR-sponsored diagnostic-accuracy study on developing and validating non-invasive prenatal testing for sickle cell disorder at a tertiary-care centre in central India. This is a molecular-pathology project role, so the work sits close to sample handling, assay support and reliable study records rather than routine hospital administration. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: The engagement is tied to an externally sponsored ICMR/DHR project and does not create any right to a regular AIIMS Nagpur post. Your appointment remains governed by the project's funding and the terms set by the sponsoring bodies.
• Initial tenure: The first appointment runs for 12 months. Renewal depends on your performance, the project investigator's evaluation and approval from the Director, so continuation beyond the first term is not automatic.
• Performance review: The investigator may end the appointment if your work is not satisfactory. The Principal Investigator's decision on project matters is final.
• Work base and training: You must remain stationed at the Institute and may need to travel with the Principal Investigator for NIPT training. You should be comfortable working within the study team's schedules and laboratory protocols.
• Joining condition: The selected person must join duty within 15 days of receiving the appointment letter.
• Communication: A working email address and mobile number are compulsory because shortlisting and assessment information will be sent electronically. Missing an emailed update could affect your participation in the next stage.
• Assessment travel: AIIMS Nagpur will not pay TA/DA for attending the written screening, skill assessment or interview.
• Conduct: Canvassing or providing false information can disqualify your application at any stage.

Both channels form part of the submission, so completing only one may leave your application incomplete. Only shortlisted applicants will be called to the Department of Pathology, Demonstration Room, Second Floor, Medical Laboratory Building, AIIMS, MIHAN, Nagpur.
