The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (AIIMS Nagpur) is building a panel of Guest Faculty for its College of Nursing at the MIHAN campus. The panel covers three non-nursing subjects that nursing students study, for the current academic session. This is an empanelment on a clock-hour basis, not a regular faculty post, so you are paid only for the classes you take. Posts and Disciplines

• Sociology and Applied Sociology: for postgraduates in Sociology (the notice prints "Sociology/Sociology work") with collegiate or university teaching experience.

Post-wise Duties

Computer Applications and Health and Nursing Information Technology

You will take the Computer Applications or Health and Nursing Information Technology classes for nursing students, within the clock hours the college allots for the session.

Sociology and Applied Sociology

You will take the Sociology and Applied Sociology classes of the nursing programme at the College of Nursing, again paid per class hour.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Clock-hour engagement: you are hired purely on a clock-hour basis, with a cap on the hours per subject in the academic session.
• Possible extension: AIIMS Nagpur may keep you on for the next academic year as well, depending on your performance as Guest Faculty.
• Screening: selection rests on the interview, but the institute may hold a screening test or another shortlisting step for subjects that draw a large number of qualified applicants.
• Right to cancel: the Executive Director can cancel the advertisement at any time or engage fewer Guest Faculty than advertised.
