The District and Sessions Court, Ahmednagar in Maharashtra is preparing a selection list and a waiting list for the post of Book Binder (Pustak Bandhanikar) in its establishment. The advertisement was issued by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, who also chairs the recruitment committee. It is a regular court post, so it suits you if you have finished Class 10 and trained in book binding at an ITI or a similar government-recognised institute. The recruitment is completely free — no application fee is charged.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Place of posting: You can be appointed or deputed to any court in the Ahmednagar judicial district.
- No promotion: Book Binder is an isolated post with no promotion avenue, so keep this in mind before you apply.

Application Submission Notes
Fill the form in the format given on the district court website and send it only by Speed Post with acknowledgement to The Registrar, District and Sessions Court, Ahmednagar, near Nyayanagar, behind DSP Office, DSP Chowk, Ahmednagar 414001. It must reach by 6:00 PM on the closing day.
Write "Application for the post of Book Binder" (पुस्तक बांधणीकार या पदाकरिता अर्ज) on the envelope. Forms sent by ordinary post, handed in person, or without this line on the envelope will not be considered. Do not attach a demand draft or postal order, since there is no fee.
Shortlisted names and the admit card format are put up on the court website and notice board, and changes are not sent to you individually, so check the website regularly.

परीक्षा पैटर्न
You will first take a 20-mark practical test of book binding work. Based on these marks, about 3 candidates per post are called for the next round, and anyone tied with the last shortlisted candidate is also called.
The shortlisted candidates then face a 20-mark oral interview. The final merit list is based on your combined marks from the practical test and the interview.
Admit Card: Download the admit card format from the court website, fill it, paste your photo, sign in black ink and bring it on the given date. Without an identity card you cannot sit the test or interview.
